My photographic journey started when I received my first DSR camera in collage as a gift. Just starting a BFA program at the University School of Art, I signed up for my first photography class. Captivated by the blending of art and science, I dedicated myself to absorbing the foundational principles of photography. I worked my way through learning a wide range of genres from street photography and documentary to portrait and landscape. While I was receiving a BFA in Visual Communications, I worked on getting over two years of photography classes under my belt.

 

Over the years since my formal training, I have explored my own self expression through the lense, capturing the beauty that inspires me along the coast of Southern California. Traveling to each distinctive destination, camera in hand, I follow where the beauty takes me, capturing unique moments in time. I use these images in digital collages that I construct in a minimalist style that celebrates color, excitement and fantasy. I most of my work from coffee shop in Ocean Beach, California called Brew Wave.
